We volunteer at ‘We Got Your Six Outdoor Adventures‘ where we do free trips for veterans; We donate trips to ‘Angling For Life‘, ‘Hometown Hero Outdoors‘, and ‘The Veteran Fishing and Hunting Network‘.
Larry was raised in Minnesota on a farm near a lake where he found his passion for fishing and hunting. He learned how to fish on his own and would be found on a lake or hunting pheasants every chance he got.
After the Sep 11th tragedy, he sold his construction company and enlisted in the Army, where he served 20-plus years. The Army gave him a unique opportunity where he was sent overseas several times to include: Iraq, Germany, Poland, and other European countries.
Even overseas, he fished every chance he had. In 2003, while deployed to Iraq, he caught an 89-pound mangar that was featured on the cover of Bass Master magazine. During his second deployment, he chased the Wels Catfish and was able to hook into one but was unable to land the fish.
Larry has guided in Colorado and Kansas for both fishing and waterfowl, where he took out over 200 veterans on many trips through a nonprofit Hometown Hero Outdoors.
Larry is married with 4 children, and family is the most important thing to him!
Rick Hernandez is owner and operater of Jaw Dropperz outdoors bait & tackle,
owner of Jaw Dropperz Musky Baitz. Rick
graduated from C.O.A.G.S profesional guide school in 2006.
On top of guiding fishing, Rick has experience meeting customers and taking them with packed horses and mules into remote hunting camps in the rocky mountains. Rick has a background in working for whitetail outfitters in Alabama & Wisconsin as well.
Rick has had training in outdoor survival and first aid/cpr. He also has extensive knowledge of multiple game fish, rivers, lakes and tributaries in central Wisconsin, but his bread and butter is focusing on Musky.
Rick is certified and licensed to tag Musky for the DNR in specific waterways.
